Cards activation through SMS service

We are glad to announce the launch of Cards activation through SMS service, which enables cardholders to activate their cards once received without the need to contact the call centre.

Product Details

• You can activate Al Baraka Bank credit and direct debit cards by sending a text message to 191281 from your phone number registered with the bank containing the following:
• The word ACT is followed by a space and then the last four digits of the card to be activated. Example: ACT****
• Standard SMS fees are applied to the activation SMS from the Cardholder.
